PHILADELPHIA, PA, UNITED STATES, April 1, 2026 – Solestra Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Aerofab Corporation (“Aerofab”), a precision aerospace and defense manufacturer in Anaheim, California. The acquisition advances Solestra’s strategy to build a leading North American manufacturing platform and deepens its existing complex machining capabilities in its West Coast hub, reinforcing its position as a trusted top-tier partner.

“The addition of Aerofab strengthens our ability to deliver highly engineered solutions across increasingly complex aerostructures,” said Joe DeMartino, Chief Executive Officer of Solestra Group. “Their capabilities in flight safety, fracture-critical components and determinant assemblies, combined with a strong track record of rapid NPI execution, further enhance our differentiating capabilities and position us to better serve our customers across critical aerospace platforms.”

The transaction was led by Solestra Group corporate, with Aero Engineering & Manufacturing LLC, a Solestra Group subsidiary, completing the acquisition. Aerofab will operate within Solestra’s West Coast hub as part of Aero Engineering & Manufacturing, enhancing existing capabilities in complex aerostructures and highly engineered assemblies. Aerofab’s management team will report into the West Coast hub, led by Rocky Barnhart, Vice President and General Manager.

Aerofab brings expertise in large, complex aerostructures, including flight-safety, fracture-critical components and determinant assemblies, supported by a strong track record in rapid new product introduction (NPI).

“Aerofab has built its reputation on precision, responsiveness, and solving complex manufacturing challenges,” said Robbie Robinson, Principal of Aerofab. “Joining Solestra is an exciting next chapter for our team. It allows us to scale what we do best, take on even more complex work, and continue delivering for our customers with greater speed and capability as part of a broader, complementary platform.”

Aerofab serves leading aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, including Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Marvin Engineering, supporting flagship programs such as the F-35, F-22, F/A-18, and KC-46. The acquisition both expands Solestra’s content with existing customers and introduces new customer relationships, further strengthening the company’s position across key aerospace platforms.

“This acquisition is a strong strategic fit within our West Coast operations,” said John Mann, Solestra’s Director of M&A and Finance. “Integrating Aerofab into Aero Engineering & Manufacturing enhances our ability to support customers with complex assemblies, tighter tolerances, and faster response times, while reinforcing our regional hub strategy.”

The acquisition was completed with the continued support of Emko Capital, Solestra Group’s long-term capital partner. Solestra will deploy its proven integration strategy, focused on program alignment, customer continuity, unified quality systems, and coordinated go-to-market strategies, to ensure a seamless transition for Aerofab’s employees, customers, and suppliers.
